We exist to help you provide minor beneficiaries with the support they need
Trustees play a vital role in the lives of minor beneficiaries. To help ensure continuous care and support of minors, we provide specialist beneficiary and trust fund administration for their guardians, and the corporate clients who create funds for the benefit of their employees. In the last year:
Face-to-face contact with beneficiaries at regional roadshows plays an important role
Interacting with guardians and beneficiaries to understand and meet their needs is critical to what we do, and we have learned that the best way to do this is through face-to-face contact. We achieve this by hosting guardian and beneficiary roadshows across the country. These sessions give guardians and beneficiaries the opportunity to meet our team and voice any questions or concerns they may have. From our side, we are able to meet the beneficiaries, touch base with the guardians, and resolve queries. We tell the guardians more about our key services and how they can access the information and money they may need to support those in their care, while the children are entertained with games, educational toys and snacks. This interaction enables us to continually refine how we work to meet their needs.
In the second half of 2017, our team visited Richards Bay, Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, and attendees received the team with great enthusiasm and excitement. We are planning to host similar events in Soweto and Umtatha this year.
We continuously engage with industry stakeholders to remain relevant
Constantly engaging with other important stakeholders in the industry, such as principal officers, trustees and decision-making bodies is an integral part of our business process. In June 2017, we hosted our first business breakfast, with an informative presentation by industry expert Sakkie Hurd. This event was met with great interest and we have had requests for similar engagement sessions. We also participated in the Institute of Retirement Funds Africa (IRFA) Conference in 2016 and 2017, where we received recognition for having one of the most visually interactive stands. We were very glad about this, because the purpose of being at the event is to interact and engage with trustees, so we will be looking at ways to do this even more effectively this year.
